This Christmas, Bacchanalia unveils The Golden Tree of Hesperides, a luminous celebration inspired by the mythical garden of eternal light and beauty, in partnership with Dom Pérignon and Belvedere. Mayfair’s most spectacular dining temple transforms into a gilded sanctuary, where glowing crimson tones, flickering candlelight, and celestial detailing set the stage for a season defined by decadence and delight.
Outside the restaurant stands a radiant Golden Tree, an homage to the legendary tree of golden apples gifted to the gods – a symbol of immortality, abundance, and joy. Inside, guests are invited into a world of Greco-Roman opulence where decadence meets myth, and feasting becomes an art form.
From Monday 17 November, guests are invited to indulge in Bacchanalia’s a la carte offering, which features five new seasonal dishes crafted by Head Chef Theo Zarikakis to celebrate the flavours, textures, and theatrical flair of the Mediterranean.
Highlight dishes include Stuffed Kerato Peppers filled with metsovone, graviera, trahana and a bright vinegar dressing, alongside the succulent Ribeye on the Bone. Further standouts include Lamb Kleftiko Giouveti with smoked lamb, orzo and smoked tomato, and a fresh, zesty Seabream Ceviche, with each plate capturing the generous, hedonistic spirit of the season.
